Tip of the Week

(To restore shine and remove product build-up in your hair, use the following homemade solution: Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with one cup of water. Shampoo and rinse hair as usual, then wash with the homemade solution and rinse. If you have long, fine hair you can leave it in to help prevent tangling. Why it works? The acid in vinegar strips silicone from the hair shaft and smooths down the cuticle to make your hair shiny. Photograph source, Stylist Nicoletta Santoro; Photographer Patrick Demarchelier.)

  3. Spot on. As the author of The Healing Powers of Vinegar, this is so true. And, your skin? Gotta blemish, puffy undereyes, a wart on your hand? I swear to you ACV works like a charm every time!!! And don't forget its counterpart olive oil.
